A dash of cayenne pepper
4 cups whole milk or half-and-half
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Slice each roll into thirds, cutting across sausage.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs until light and frothy.
Add mustard, salt, peppers, and milk; whisk well.
Arrange half of cut rolls into prepared casserole.
Sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.
Arrange the other half of cut rolls into prepared casserole.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Pour egg mixture over all.
Cover tightly with foil; chill for several hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Remove foil and bake casserole 45 – 50 minutes, or until center is set and casserole is golden brown.

Ingredients:
1lb sausage
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 (8 in) flour tortillas
6 eggs
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups of half and half
3 oz of real bacon bits
Directions:
Simply cook the sausage in a frying pan. Once cooked stir together the sausage, 1 cup of the cheese, and half of the bacon bits. Place an 1/8th of the mixture in the center of a tortilla and roll them up. Place them seam side down in a greased baking dish. Repeat until all tortillas are used.
In another bowl beat the eggs and flour. Mix in the half-and-half and pour over the tortillas in the pan. You can either cook immediately or cover and put in the refrigerator until morning. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bacon bits over the tortillas. Cover with foil and bake for 35 min. Uncover dish and bake 10 min longer.

PostSubject: Crescent Sausage Bites   Sun Oct 20, 2013 8:24 am

1 lb. sausage (pork or turkey)
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
2 packages crescent rolls
Dash salt & ground black pepper

Directions:
In a saute pan, brown sausage; drain. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Blend in cream cheese until the cream cheese is melted.
Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on a baking sheet. With your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges.
Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of the sausage mixture. Press the edges together to seal. Gently press the seams together.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown.
Cut into small squares and serve. (A pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.).
